Draft all four elements here before you make anything look good. A poster with a beautiful layout and no evaluation element does not meet the criteria; a rough draft with all four does.

Best for
The 20-minute drafting phase and the 10-minute self-audit in Lesson 8.
Kaiako use
Watch for students who describe the response but never evaluate it. That is the most common gap and the most important one.
Ākonga use
Write two to four sentences per element using evidence from your sources, then complete the six-box self-audit.
Linked next step
Take this to Lesson 9. Any unticked box is where your production time goes first.
Te Ao Māori lens
If your poster is about a Māori community, check whose voice the poster ends up in. Naming the organisation and quoting its own description of its work keeps the poster about a community acting, rather than a community being described.

The template is ready to print. Te Wānanga is useful when you want a version with sentence starters for each element.
Generate a scaffolded version with a sentence starter for each of the four elements.
Add a digital-poster variant if your class is submitting slides.
