Whatever you just thought of is where your marks are leaking. Excellence is rarely decided by the polished parts. It is decided by whether the weak part is weak because you ran out of time, or because you never went back to it.
📖 Activity 1: Grade Your Own Work, Then Close One Gap
Mark yourself (13 min). Against the Level 3 criteria, grade each strand Achieved, Merit or Excellence and quote the evidence. Wherever you claim Excellence, point at the specific artefact that proves it. A claim with no artefact behind it is not a claim, it is a hope.
Move one strand (12 min). Take your weakest strand and do the smallest piece of work that genuinely changes the judgement — not the most visible piece, the decisive one. Record what you did and what it moved.
