Read your own report as your least sympathetic stakeholder. Pick the party from Lesson 7 whose position you liked least, and read your whole report as them.
Five minutes: mark every place they would say you were unfair, or that you skipped their evidence. Those marks are your repair list — and surviving that read is what the Excellence criterion actually asks of you.
📖 Activity 1: Biological Evidence & Ethical Analysis (25 mins)
Repair the weak junctions (20 min). Fix the places your hostile reader marked. Where you dismissed a stakeholder, either engage their evidence or say honestly why it does not hold. Check that the mātauranga section states constraints rather than costs, and that WAI 262 is represented as a governance question rather than a values footnote.
Final integration pass (15 min). Read the whole report for the one thing Excellence rewards: does the biology, the ethics and the stakeholder evidence form a single argument, or three parallel essays? Fix the largest gap you find.
📝 Activity 2: Level 3 Biology (Internal) Report Drafting & Merit/Excellence Scaffolding (20 mins)
Report — Section 10 (final). Submit: (1) your hostile-reader annotations; (2) the repaired sections with changes noted; (3) a one-paragraph statement of your final position including what evidence would change it; (4) a note on which part of the report you would strengthen with more time and why.
